We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Senior Resident Medical Officer in Nuclear Medicine to join our dynamic team.

This is a full-time position in Nuclear Medicine Department at St George Hospital.

An opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in Medical Imaging specifically in the field of Nuclear Medicine.  This includes familiarisation with reporting PET/CT, protocolling patients, radiation safety. Ideal for medical officers wanting to pursue an advanced trainee position in Nuclear Medicine or Radiology.

  1. MBBS or equivalent, current general registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  2. Completion of at least 3 years post graduate full time hospital experience
  3. Adept written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, family members and others members of the health care team.
  4. Adept good organisational and time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment.
  5. Demonstrated interest in medical imaging with experience in Medical Imaging or Nuclear Medicine preferred
  6. Demonstrated interest in research
  7. Demonstrated interest in teaching
  8. Evidence of continuing professional development and commitment to self-education.
