The Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI) leads innovation in clinical care across NSW. We do this by bringing clinicians, patients and healthcare managers together to design and implement new ways to deliver healthcare.

What you will be doing  

As part of the Strategy, Communication, Planning and Engagement (SCOPE) Directorate, the Senior Communications Officer will work with the ACI's clinical networks and teams to support their communications activities. This includes developing communication plans; producing resources and content in a variety of formats; and providing advice to ensure all published material is fit-for-purpose, engages clinicians and reflects our high standard. The role also supports internal communications initiatives that drive engagement and help our workplace to foster positive connections.  

 

Employment details 

Employment Type: Full Time Exempt (up to 30 December 2025) 
Position Classification: Health Manager Level 3
Remuneration: $127,150.00 – $144,444.00 per annum excluding Superannuation  
Hours Per Week: 40 (38 standard + 2hrs toward ADO)

Selection criteria

  1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or significant work experience working in a health or marketing and communications team.
  2. High level writing and editing skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into well structured, easily understood content for a variety of different audiences and platforms, including print and online.
  3. Extensive experience providing communications advice, managing the end-to-end production of information resources, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality material.
  4. Strong knowledge of MS Office programs; and familiarity with Adobe applications, web content management systems and workflow management tools.
