Remuneration: $68.64 - $72.33
Hours Per Week: 32 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing
Westmead Dental Hospital is seeking a Level 2 Dental Officer to join its Special Needs Department, offering specialised care to patients with complex medical and disability-related conditions. This role provides exposure to hospital-based dentistry in a consultant-led environment.
In this role you will:
- Deliver dental care to patients with physical and intellectual disabilities.
- Work in a consultant-led setting, demonstrating advanced clinical, diagnostic, and management skills.
- Facilitate inpatient care, including ward visits and transfers.
- Support the department with administrative duties.
- Gain experience in a broad range of hospital-based dentistry.

- Qualification: Dental qualification registrable with the Dental Board of Australia
- Registration: Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Dentist

- Excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with a range of individuals including the general public.
- A demonstrated understanding of and commitment to a preventative / population health approach to patient care.
- A demonstrated ability to work within a large team and independently.
- A demonstrated commitment to continuing education.
