Where you'll be working

High Risk Foot Service Podiatry department, Hornsby Hospital

What you'll be doing
The Podiatrist provides a high level podiatry service to consumers appropriate to the service. This includes assessment, reviews, screening and risk stratification of consumers.  


People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

 

  1. Must hold registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia.
  2. Demonstrated well developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to use health information systems.
  3. Demonstrated skills and knowledge in the provision of evidenced based Podiatry service to consumers, carers and families requiring assessment, intervention, appropriate referral and discharge planning.
  4. Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required).
