About the Role

Sydney Local Health District is one of the fastest growing Local Health Districts in New South Wales. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.

  

The primary role of the Hospital Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic is to carry out in a safe and professional manner, all refrigeration and air conditioning works, this includes maintenance and installation works throughout hospital facilities as directed. The Refrigeration and Air conditioning mechanic may be required to undertake these works at any facility within the District.

Ideal Candidate

  • Refrigeration / Air Conditioning trade qualifications with extensive experience in a building services maintenance environment. 
  • Possess current BSC Licence for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration including CFC Accreditation or be willing to obtain within specified timeframe. 
  • Experience in the operation of planned maintenance programs. 
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
