The Mid North Coast Cancer Institute has an opportunity for a Radiation Therapist to join their team in their Oncology Clinic at Coffs Harbour Health Campus.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering precise and patient-centred radiation therapy as part of a comprehensive oncology service. You’ll work with advanced technology in a supportive environment that values collaboration, continuous learning, and clinical excellence.

As a member of our team, you’ll contribute to treatment planning, simulation, and delivery, while maintaining a strong focus on patient care and safety. About you

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and motivated professional who meets the following criteria:

  • Appropriate Bachelor Degree and eligible for general registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia as a Radiation Therapist
  • Demonstrated experience with dual energy linear accelerators featuring multi-leaf collimation, electronic verification imaging, and CT-interfaced 3D treatment planning systems
  • Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills with patients, visitors, and other stakeholders
  • Proven self-motivation and initiative, with the ability to work successfully within small teams
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and cope with dynamic and evolving work practices
  • Sound understanding of current radiation therapy, QA, and radiation safety principles, with the ability to identify and adapt to future developments in the profession
  • Valid EPA Radiation Licence (or eligible to hold)
