About the role:
You will:
- Deliver quality radiotherapy care while monitoring patients’ mental and physical well-being, referring them to healthcare professionals as needed
- Ensure safe and efficient treatment delivery with accurate record-keeping in line with departmental standards
- Stay up to date with best practices and evolving departmental policies
- Actively contribute to quality assurance programs, research, and quality improvement initiatives
- Assist senior staff with student supervision and training
- Implement risk management strategies to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors

Requirements:
- Registered as a Radiation Therapist with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (MRPBA) as regulated by the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Holds or eligible to hold a NSW Radiation licence as issued by the Environment Protection Agency (EPA) regulatory body.
Additional Information:
- To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable local candidate is identified for the position; in this instance, you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
