The new Maitland Hospital will offer a broad range of services for the people of the Hunter, delivering more beds and treatment spaces than the current 178 treatment spaces.
Maitland Hospital is a major Rural Referral Hospital providing services to the Lower Hunter Region.
What you'll be doing
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Registered with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, as an Advanced Trainee or equivalent.
- Requirement for and commitment to further training in General Paediatric Medicine.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and work with teams to support and optimise their capacity to deliver academic and clinical services.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and ability in teaching and research. Provide specific examples.
- Genuine and demonstrated commitment to delivering high quality patient care. Provide specific examples.
- Awareness and currency of General Paediatrics practices in NSW Health and in the Northern Paediatric Training Network.
