What you'll be doing
The Project Manager is responsible for managing the risk, quality and progress of ICT/digital projects to organisational standards and ensures workstreams and/or projects are completed on time, on budget, to quality standards, and within agreed scope. All workstream and/or project activities must align with the organisation's strategic plan, ICT operational processes and sector and NSW Government policies. The Project Manager also manages the review and analysis of the organisation's business intentions, services, processes, and information needs to identify changes that lead to business improvements.
  1. Extensive experience in managing medium to large and/or complex technical projects in a large and complex service industry organisation, including relevant project management qualifications or equivalent. This includes extensive knowledge and a demonstrated experience ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope.
  2. Intermediate proficiency in JIRA and CONFLUENCE or equivalent.
  3. Demonstrated experience managing and overseeing major aspects of projects management and implementation, including developing and monitoring project plans, coordinating resources, reporting, issue, and risk management and managing budgets.
  4. Proven capacity to develop and implement complex strategic initiatives, including the capability to plan, manage change, improve performance and project manage.
  5. Highly developed analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
  6. Superior organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with proven capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve business goals, perform, and always work with a customer focused approach.
  7. Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience engaging, collaborating, and influencing key stakeholders and customers to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes.
