Program Coordinator 

The position of Program Coordinator within the Medical Portfolio is responsible for supporting the management of vocational training programs and all phases of project implementation and evaluation required for the successful delivery of HETI's operational objectives.

The Health Education and Training Institute (HETI) is a public health organisation established in 2012 to ensure training and workforce development within the NSW Health Service is of an appropriate standard, and meets with the operational and service needs of the NSW public health system. HETI works with Local Health Districts/Specialty Networks, Medical Colleges and NSW Health Pillars, including the Ministry of Health to establish and maintain appropriate training pathways in New South Wales.

Where you'll be working 

The role is based in Sydney at 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards in a modern, purpose-built 5 star rated green campus that is well serviced by public transport and access to public parking. The building offers activity-based working conditions with agile and flexible workspaces and the latest in technology, modern end-of-trip facilities, and secure bicycle storage. There is an onsite cafe, and a 100-space childcare centre.

  1.  Relevant tertiary qualifications in Health, Education or Project Management or equivalent, and demonstrated, relevant professional experience.
  2. Adept communication, interpersonal and consultation skills with the ability to build and manage complex relationships with key stakeholders at a local and state level.
  3. Adept problem solving, analytical and evaluation skills and ability to use electronic reporting systems and databases.
  4. Adept organisational skills, with the ability to successfully manage competing priorities in order to achieve program deliverables.
  5. Demonstrated experience in all aspects of project management with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, meet project milestones and reporting requirements.
  6. Experience in contemporary clinical education and training concepts and practices and its application in the health sector.
  7. Experience in the delivery of high-quality training programs and products through innovation, design, development, implementation, and review and evaluation.
  8. Able to demonstrate and role model the NSW CORE Values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.
