Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a Post Graduate Fellow to join our team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
    

The primary purpose of the role of the Post Graduate Fellow in Tumours and Arthroplasty is to provide program of additional training to develop this subspecialty interest and to further develop core clinical skills required in this area. The Post Graduate Fellow will have completed advanced training to become a specialist medical practitioner in Orthopaedic Surgery.
     
The Post Graduate Fellow will provide high quality clinical care, diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Orthopaedic Surgery at the level of a Post Graduate Fellow, and participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Orthopaedic Department and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital as required. They will ensure high standards of professional performance and contribute to an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.                             
                      

The successful applicant will be registered, or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) or equivalent with recognised qualifications in Orthopaedic Surgery and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award. (Note: Applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship prior to, or within three months of the expected commencement date, may be considered.
     
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Staff Specialist (State) Award.
