NBMLHD are seeking a Planning and Project Support Officer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in coordinating, monitoring and reporting on a range of strategic projects and planning activities untill July 2026 in a Temporary Full time role.
The Planning and Project Support Officer is responsible for providing high level project and organisational support to the Planning and Strategic Office Team and is also responsible for establishing and implementing frameworks, processes and tools required for the optimal functioning of the Planning and Strategic Office Team. This role will see you provide vital administrative and analytical support to project managers and senior leaders and you will help ensure projects stay on track by maintaining schedules, tracking milestones, preparing reports, and supporting planning and coordination efforts across departments.

What you will bring to the role:
- Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent industry experience in the provision of project related activities and high level administrative support while managing competing work priorities in a complex work environment.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting the introduction/improvement of processes and producing related documentation.
- Superior organisational and time management skills, with demonstrated ability to analyse, prioritise and meet deadlines with a high level of self-motivation and self-direction.
- Effective problem solving and analytical skills, including the ability to work independently, exercising initiative and judgement and a willingness to accept responsibility.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including a proven ability to prepare project and meeting documentation, including briefs, project plans, presentations, agendas, meeting minutes etc.
- Demonstrated high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications and other relevant business-related applications and processes (e.g. recruitment, payroll, document management system) and demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to and employ new tools and systems as required.
- Superior interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to effectively and professionally engage with a range of stakeholders internally and externally, across varying disciplines and levels.
- Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
