About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists to join the fun and innovative team of Bowral Physiotherapy department.

Are you looking for opportunities to work in Outpatient Physiotherapy, whilst also maintaining your inpatient skills? Then this is the job for you. This position will work primarily in outpatients but will have short opportunities to maintain inpatient skills with occasional weekend work and leave support.

You will be working with small but passionate team who love what they do and are dedicated to ensuring optimal patient outcomes and changing lives.

 

What You'll be Doing
To provide professional and high quality physiotherapy services to patients in SWSLHD. This includes clinical duties (assessment, treatment and education) and participation in professional development, clinical supervision, teaching and other relevant departmental activities and administrative duties.

Bowral & District Hospital, located in the picturesque Southern Highlands of NSW, offers a unique blend of rural charm and cosmopolitan amenities. As part of the South Western Sydney Local Health District, it has strong connections to tertiary facilities at Campbelltown and Liverpool. 

The hospital originally opened in 1889 and has undergone significant redevelopment, with the first stage completed in December 2020. This $123 million redevelopment includes a new Clinical Services Building with a modern emergency department, operating theatres, and inpatient wards. The ongoing second stage will further enhance outpatient services and include a new Aboriginal Dreaming Garden.

  1. Current Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  2. Please describe your experience across a broad range of physiotherapy clinical areas. Include an example that demonstrates your ability to apply evidence-based practice in your care.
  3. Tell us about a time you worked as part of a multidisciplinary team. How did you communicate effectively and manage your time to contribute to a successful outcome?
  4. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
