Essential Criteria:
- Qualification: Degree in Social Work with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW)
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated high level clinical experience and understanding of the needs of infants, children, young people and their carers.
- Demonstrated experience in using advanced practice skills to provide high quality comprehensive assessments and therapeutic interventions for cases in child protection, domestic and family violence, NDIS, childhood disability, and profound grief and loss.
- Demonstrated understanding of the challenges in accessing health services/navigating the health system for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, Refugees and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse client groups .
- Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures for service improvement and skills in providing training and education with experience in staff and/or student supervision.
- Well-developed time management skills with excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated experience in quality assurance and / or clinical practice improvement activities.
- Ability to participate in the After Hours Crisis On-Call Social Work Service.
