About the Role
You will be working at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. Concord Repatriation General Hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.
The Operation Assistant will be responsible for providing support services to the activities in the Perioperative Department by the performance of any or all of the tasks assigned to this position and contributing to the achievement of safe patient outcomes. Engaged in the provision of porterage, theatre linen supplies, cleaning services. Intraoperative theatre duties including transfers of patients onto the operating table and positioning of patients.
- Effective organisational skills
- Ability to work on a 7 day rotating roster
- Previous experience in intraoperative theatre duties including transfer of patients onto the operating table and positioning of patients or willingness to learn.
