As a Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), you’ll be at the helm of the Operating Theatres, ensuring high level care for our patients while fostering a supportive environment for our staff. You’ll oversee all clinical, administrative, and personnel functions within the unit, playing an essential role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of patient and staff services. Your responsibilities will include managing daily unit operations and leading a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. As an experienced Clinical Leader, you will have accountability for culture, quality and safety, patient flow and financial management. Knowledge of ACORN Standards as well as District and ministerial KPI's partnered with your extensive Perioperative expertise will contribute to the development and growth of Wollongong Hospital Perioperative Services.

Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500.
