What you will bring to the role:
- Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) AND extensive relevant post registration nursing experience.
- Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills and ability to liaise and negotiate with clinicians, managers, staff and other key stakeholders and manage conflict.
- Proven ability to create and maintain a positive workplace culture and articulate and achieve a vision for nursing services in the contemporary health care environment.
- Demonstrated previous experience in meeting Ministry of Health set KPI's.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, coach, mentor, encourage and guide others to enable them to reach their full potential.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure the human, physical and financial resources of the unit/ward are managed to deliver safe and efficient health care within available resources.
- Evidence of and commitment to patient/client/customer focused care, clinical governance, and quality improvement.
- Extensive clinical experience in Emergency Nursing with desired, but not essential, clinical experience in Mental Health or Drug & Alcohol.
