About the team:
An incredible opportunity exists to join a team of highly motivated leaders and collaborative partners to drive a unique and first-of-its-kind initiative to develop sustainable commercially-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trial portfolios across a vast Rural, Regional, and Remote footprint in Northern NSW.

The Rural, Regional, and Remote Clinical Trial Enabling Program (R3-CTEP) is a Commonwealth-funded initiative aiming to deliver increased and more equitable access to clinical trials for patients in rural, regional and remote NSW. A key activity of the R3-CTEP is the establishment of three Clinical Trial Support Units across the state. The Northern NSW R3 Clinical Trial Support Unit (CTSU) incorporates a Northern Cluster of Local Health Districts - Hunter New England, Mid-North Coast, Northern NSW, and the Central Coast.

Location is negotiable within the Northern Cluster footprint (Hunter New England LHD, Mid-North Coast LHD, Northern NSW LHD, and Central Coast LHD) including a hybrid model of work depending on location. Travel may be required across the 4 LHDs.

About the role:
The Clinical Trials Operations Manager of the Northern NSW R3 Clinical Trial Support Unit (CTSU), is responsible for; ensuring the provision of quality clinical trial services for investigator-initiated, collaborative and industry sponsored clinical trials across the R3 sites; ensuring management of people and projects, demonstrating organisational skills, the ability to successfully prioritise and manage competing issues and meet deadlines and; maintaining effective relationships with industry sponsors, investigators and multiple stakeholders across the R3 cluster.


About you:

Our successful candidate will be highly self-motivated, proactive, with a strong work ethic and desire to increase access to clinical trials for Rural, Regional and Remote populations. You will have extensive experience in the conduct and growth of clinical trials, and you will be dedicated to ensuring the efficiency and quality of clinical trial delivery across a diverse and complex environment.
