What you'll be doing 
Join Westmead Radiology as a Medical Radiation Scientist and play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred imaging services. Where you will:

• Perform a range of radiological exams with expert guidance
• Provide care that supports patients’ physical and emotional needs
• Be part of a 24/7 rotating roster in a dynamic hospital setting
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary, supportive team
• Ensure safety, accuracy, and high standards in all procedures

Essential Criteria:

• Licence:  Eligible for or possess NSW EPA Radiation Licence IA14
• Qualification:  Degree in or currently completing degree in Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science – Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
• Registration:  Eligible for and registered with Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) prior to commencement.

Selection Criteria:

1. Demonstrated experience in general radiography, including but not limited to general and trauma, operating suite, mobile, dental and fluoroscopy
2. Experience working in a busy hospital environment
3. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
4. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. Demonstrated ability to solve clinical situations and to develop effective solutions
