About the role: 
Our Environmental Services team at Calvary Mater Hospital and HNELHD Mental Health Centre in Waratah are passionate about providing a hygienic, clean and safe environment for patients, staff and visitors to the hospital. We are an integral part of the overall care of our patients and work hard to ensure we always have a positive impact. We are seeking additional team members to work within the Mental Health Centre who will play an important role towards ensuring the facilities are cleaned to the highest standards and ensuring infection prevention and control measures are achieved. 

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Vacuuming
  • Mopping
  • Dusting
  • Cleaning of bathrooms
 
This position requires availability to work across a 7-day roster, morning and / or afternoon shifts.

A typical day brings interaction with a range of patients, clinical and non-clinical staff across various departments. You will perform cleaning tasks and infection control procedures in line with the Hospital policy and procedures.
