An exciting opportunity exists to join the Digital Health Services team as a Hardware Support Technician. We are looking for a talented individual to bring their technical support skills to our team. This position is located close to beaches on the Central Coast.

What you'll be doing
The position of Hardware Support Technician exists within the Digital Health Services (DHS) division of the Northern Sydney (NS) and Central Coast (CC) Local Health Districts (LHD). This position is primarily based one day at NS and one day at CC however depending on the demand may be required to travel across all facilities.
In the challenging operating environment of NS & CC LHDs, the Hardware Support Technician plays a crucial role. Working closely with the Hardware Support Officer and Operational Managers of each site (including community), the technician provides technical assistance and support for hardware-related issues to customers. The position will also be responsible for configuring, delivering and installing PCs/Laptops, diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware problems, and offering timely and effective solutions.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, and/or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Proven experience as an end user support technician or similar role, with strong knowledge of hardware, software, peripherals, and accessories.
- Proven experience in the provision of support in a complex environment, with demonstrated problem solving skills.
