  1. Eligibility for AASW membership with significant post graduate experience in social work practice with families and children and/or in health context OR Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and Endorsement with the Psychology Board of Australia in the area of Clinical Psychologist or eligible to progress to same. Minimum 2 year full time equivalent accredited postgraduate Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology
  2. Extensive specialist knowledge of the issues facing families in the relevant clinical area coupled with advanced skills in therapeutic counselling and casework in working families in a bereaved situation.
  3. Advance practice skills in a variety of psychosocial interventions/modalities which include psychosocial assessment, counselling, group work and community engagement
  4. Current unrestricted NSW Driver’s licence, and ability to provide services to rural and remote areas of NSW and ACT.
  5. Demonstrated skills and experience in evidence based practice, education provision, service planning, the development of models of care, and leading and evaluating quality improvement activities.
  6. Excellent demonstrated interpersonal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, including competency with computers and IT systems.
