The Clinical Excellence Commission (CEC) is committed to providing leadership in safety and quality to improve health care for patients in NSW. What you'll be doing
This is a high-level support role required to provide an efficient and responsive administrative, organisational, and logistical service to the Chief Executive (CE) in partnership with the Executive Assistant (EA) to the CE. The CE'S unit consists of the CE, the CE's EA and this role as the Executive Support. The role requires flexibility around start and finish times in order to meet emerging deadlines for urgent CE unit matters and coordination of daily hours with the CEs EA and/or to support board committee meetings that may operate past core business hours due to members availabilities.
The role will also be required to provide high level administrative support to the newly formed Project Management support within the CEC.

Selection Criteria
- Experience in providing high level executive administration support or project management support to senior executives, including preparation of relevant documents, or relevant qualifications
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to anticipate and meet the needs of a senior executive without instruction, to exercise initiative and to work unsupervised to achieve business focused solutions.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the proven capacity to manage complex internal and external relationships and related correspondence and activities.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a flexible and professional work environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results with a customer focused approach.
- Highly computer literate including advanced computing skills in Microsoft Office products and similar software.
- Demonstrate capability to manage confidential and sensitive matters appropriately and with the utmost discretion.
- Strong stakeholder management with an ability to communicate effectively with Board committee members, executive staff from the Ministry of Health/Local Health Districts and official dignitaries as the role requires
