Overview of Role
Environmental Services Assistant is a non-clinical frontline position responsible for general, infection and discharge cleaning of all inpatients and all other areas of the hospital. This is to ensure the hospital is kept clean and safe for all our patients, families, visitor and other staff to control and prevent of healthcare associated infections from spreading.

Internal patient transfer to medical imaging departments, to the Adult Hospital, to and from our Helipad and Mortuary

What you'll be doing
 

The position will provide support to the nursing team in non-clinical care of the patient regarding patient lifting and transportation. Team member will be on emergency response teams, collection and delivery of specimens, equipment, consumables, restocking of supplies and consumables.   
Cleaning duties as assigned, may including general cleaning, terminal cleaning of internal areas and external areas. Cleaning according to daily, weekly and periodic schedules.
