About the role:

The successful candidates will be responsible for the direct care of patients on our mixed Medical and Palliative Care Ward.

You will join a supportive team of Registered and Enrolled Nurses.

Where you’ll be working:

Taree, located on the banks of the Manning River, is a vibrant town that serves as the heart of the Manning Valley, offering easy access to the region’s stunning national parks and beautiful beaches along the Barrington Coast. Situated just two hours north of Newcastle and one hour south of Port Macquarie, Taree is perfectly positioned for those looking to explore some of New South Wales’ most picturesque landscapes.

Our 20-bed inpatient unit includes 14 General Medical beds and 6 dedicated Palliative Care beds, providing specialised care tailored to the needs of both medical and palliative patients. This unit is designed to deliver high-quality care in a compassionate and supportive environment, with a focus on patient comfort and well-being.

  • *Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position. All payments made to part time employees will be on a pro-rata basis.
