Where You’ll Be Working:
As the largest teaching hospital within Hunter New England, John Hunter Hospital partners with local tertiary training organizations and hosts the HNE Simulation Centre. With the new Innovation Precinct under construction, the future here is exciting and full of opportunities.
Level 6 Emergency Department:
Our department specialises in trauma, neurosurgical emergencies, neurology patients (including acute stroke), major orthopaedic, cardiology and cardiothoracic cases, and paediatric/adolescent mental health. With over 85,000 presentations annually, our ED is one of the busiest mixed Adult/Paediatric Tertiary Referral Centres in Australia and the only Trauma Referral Centre in NSW outside of Sydney.

- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA with medication administration capability.
