The Director, Research Methods and Clinical Trials, Office for Health and Medical Research (OHMR) leads the strategic development of methods, protocols and policy for clinical trial research in NSW, including research ethics and governance. The role will enable the enhancement of research capacity across the State, in line with NSW Health’s Future Health strategy and other priorities. The role will monitor and contribute to the accessibility of health data and information, to ensure improved evidence-based models of care.


This is an ongoing, full time, Band 1, Public Service Senior Executive (PSSE) role. An attractive remuneration package within the range of $211,222 to $235,325 per annum, with annual performance reviews, will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

About you

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in health, science or related field or equivalent industry experience (e.g. public administration).
