  1. Relevant qualifications and/or experience in management within the delivery of Aged Care and or Rehabilitation services within the community context.
  2. Extensive experience and a high level of understanding of Australian Government, NSW Ministry of Health and NSW Health policies and programs for promoting wellness and in home support for older people.
  3. Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including a demonstrated capacity to liaise and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders.
  4. Demonstrated experience in the management and supervision of senior health staff.
  5. Demonstrated experience establishing and managing complex projects and ability to identify and report against relevant performance measures, including key performance indicators, operational/financial and other indicators, through the development of systems to capture data.
  6. Experience in managing and leading teams with demonstrated ability to manage human, financial and physical resources effectively and efficiently to ensure budget and performance targets are met; and capability to develop an effective culture of engagement and capacity development.
  7. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
