What you'll be doing
Join a collaborative renal team delivering expert care to patients undergoing dialysis in both home and centre-based settings. As a clinical leader, you will be:

  • Delivering expert, evidence-based care to complex renal patients
  • Conducting advanced health assessments and managing treatment independently
  • Supporting and mentoring nursing staff and educating patients and families
  • Collaborating in multidisciplinary care and case planning
  • Leading innovation and continuous improvement in patient-centered outcomes

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualification: Master of Nursing
  • Registration: Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a registered Nurse Division 1

Selection Criteria:

  1. Demonstrated expert knowledge and application of skill required in contemporary Renal nursing practice, including expert knowledge and skills in patient assessment and treatment.
  2. Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) or Qualifications that qualify to be endorsed by the Board as Nurse Practitioner or in process of attaining same.
  3. Demonstrated excellent leadership, teaching and collaborative skills with evidence of participation in research/quality activities. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  5. Member of a relevant professional body (College of Nursing), Royal college of Nursing, College of Nursing Australia, Renal Society of Australasia, Australian College of Nurse Practitioners.
  6. Unrestricted NSW Driver’s Licence.
