- Demonstrated experience working with data collection, analysis and reporting in a health care setting, preferably in an Emergency Department.
- Demonstrated experience in the reporting requirements, data definitions and systems relating to Admitted and non-admitted data, including working knowledge of HIRD data source.
- Previous experience in managing, coaching, mentoring and supporting staff through performance management, training, rostering and supervision to ensure quality of services and compliance with relevant policies.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and ability to communicate, consult and negotiate with key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated excellent organisational and time management skills with proven experience in problem solving, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience databases preferably cernerPAS and Firstnet, and the ability to create reports using MS applications.
- Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to adapt to changes in an evolving eMR setting and to learn new systems as applicable.
