NBMLHD Community Mental Health offer a range of specialised services for children, young people, families and older people, through our community-based services and health centres. Our multidisciplinary health professionals and case managers take a collaborative approach to mental health care by linking with their patients to work together and consult within an environment appropriate to the person's needs.
Our Mental Health Team in Windsor Community Mental Health is growing and we’re currently looking to hire a Permanent Full Time Psychologist. This role will improve the health, well-being, and quality of life for people with a severe mental illness who reside in the Hawkesbury community.
This position will also provide a range of targeted interventions and supports, including clinical mental health treatment, disability support and referrals to essential community services and resources. These interventions need to be provided in a comprehensive, integrated, and co-ordinated approach across various service systems and to provide psychological input to multidisciplinary assessments, interventions, and discharge plans within a biopsychosocial model.

What you will bring to the role
- Recognised 4 year tertiary qualification in Psychology and registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of psychological assessments and interventions with people presenting with mental health issues
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written and good interpersonal skills
- Current drivers licence and willingness to use it for work purposes
- Computer competence and literacy
