Where you'll be working
Hornsby Hospital

What you'll be doing
  • Specific psychologist intervention pertaining to early psychosis
  • Case management of up to 10 young people
  • Centre and home-based appointments

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: 

  1. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
  2. Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist with a Master's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, relevant to clinical area in psychology.
  3. Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  5. Demonstrated computer literacy.
  6. Skills and or experience in consultation with and supervision of peers.
  7. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the use of therapies such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Insight Oriented Psychotherapy.
  8. Demonstrated skills in working with families.
