As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a key role in delivering and assessing clinical education programs aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of the paediatric nursing team. Your responsibilities will include coordinating orientation and transition support for new and casual nurses, while also addressing the ongoing educational needs of our experienced staff. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager and hospital team to ensure clinical education aligns with the specialty's standards. The Clinical Nurse Educator will offer direct supervision at the point of care, fostering a culture of quality, safety, and professional development, and will have a significant impact on the growth and advancement of our nursing staff.

Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
