Clinical Nurse Educator - Moree Community Health
We are seeking a part-time Clinical Nurse Educator to foster a culture of excellence in clinical quality and safety across the Moree, Mungindi, and Boggabilla Community Health services.
Remuneration: $55.31 - $57.11 Per Hour + Superannuation

The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) will play a key role in identifying and addressing education gaps for Community Health staff, including both nursing and Allied Health professionals. This will be achieved through reporting, staff rounding, management direction, auditing, and aligning with policies and procedures.
This position starts as one day per fortnight, with the opportunity to increase hours through maternity leave coverage starting in July 2025 (or other leave coverage as needed).
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide orientation for new staff, including permanent, temporary staff, and student
- Organise and support student placements within the Community Health team
- Monitor education compliance and coordinate training to ensure staff meet required education standards
- Provide staff support to develop essential skills in mandatory assessments if needed
- Mentor staff in developing individual and team goalsFoster an environment of continuous professional growth and development
Our ideal candidate:
You will be a natural communicator and instructor, with a proven ability to deliver clinical teaching and education in a healthcare setting. You will be an inspiring leader with the ability to motivate and guide staff, fostering a workplace culture built on teamwork, cooperation, and a shared commitment to organisational goals.
- You will hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, with relevant clinical or education post-registration qualifications, or possess equivalent clinical and educational experience as deemed appropriate by the employer.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
- High computer literacy and the ability to navigate various digital platforms
- A solid understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to apply them effectively in a healthcare environment
- Expertise in mentorship and clinical coaching to support staff development
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently while developing positive relationships with individuals and teams
