Clinical Nurse Educator - Haematology/Oncology
Selection Criteria:
- Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse/ Midwife
- Holds a relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications or such education and clinical experience in Haematology or Oncology
- Sound understanding of teaching and learning in the health care environment (adult learning principles) and demonstrated ability to apply same in practice.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, advanced computer skills and use of software programs to develop and deliver education.
- Demonstrated clinical teaching and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of assessment of practice in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development in others and to maintain, improve and broaden knowledge, expertise and competence and capability across a team.
- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent; or willingness to obtain within 12 months of commencement in role.
