About the Role
For over 70 years Concord Repatriation General Hospital has had a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare as well as undertaking world class clinical education and research. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.
 
This role works in close conjunction with the staff and families of the service and to assist, contribute and implement education and care programs for children aged 0-6 years. You will have knowledge of early childhood development by providing support with program planning, implementation and evaluation including taking regular observations of individual children, contributing to daily program outcomes reflective journals and portfolios when required.

Ideal Candidate

  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or have Australian Work Rights.
  • A Diploma or Certificate III qualification which meets the criteria defined in Children’s Services Education and Care Regulation 2011, current First Aid certificate and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate.
  • Applied knowledge of early education and care with reference to the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Knowledge and skills in planning, implementing and evaluating a developmentally appropriate program for individual children aged 0-6 years.
