WFT is a key therapeutic service working in the family preservation area, providing intensive support to vulnerable families on the Central Coast. Services are usually delivered in the home, with the focus of supporting parents to strengthen their parenting capacity and family functioning so children can safely remain with their family. 

 About the Role

Our services are dynamic, innovative, and leaders in trauma informed, culturally safe and strength based care. We have a primary role of establishing stabilisation and safety for children, young people, individuals and families and work across the health system to support healing and recovery, with a focus on increasing capacity and wellbeing. We are committed to ongoing development and continuous improvement and strive for a flexible and responsive public health response to Violence Abuse and Neglect.

About You

You will bring your experience and education as a:

  • Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2
  • Occupational Therapist Level 3
  • Psychologist
  • Social Work Level 3
