About your new role:

Belmont Hospital has numerous exciting opportunities for Undergraduate Assistant in Nurses and Enrolled Nurses who are eager to gain hands-on experience and build confidence in their field. These roles provide a unique chance to work directly in a variety of clinical settings, including Acute Medical and Surgical Wards, Non-Acute Medical Wards, the Emergency Department, and the Short Term Residential Accommodation Service (STRAS).
 
As an Assistant in Nursing or Enrolled Nurse, you will benefit from two days of comprehensive orientation and mandatory training, complemented by supernumerary time on inpatient units to immerse yourself fully in patient care. We're looking for individuals who are patient-focused, enthusiastic, and have strong communication skills, as well as a commitment to developing excellent time management abilities. Requirements:

Our successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Certificate III Assistant in Nursing or currently enrolled in an undergraduate Registered Nursing degree (completion of first year and first semester or trimester of second year), or have equivalent experience.
  • Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed where applicable) with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA.
