Remuneration: $54.76 - $56.54 per hour
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

The Level 3 Social Work Senior Clinician has recognised high level clinical skills and is able to perform novel, complex and critical clinical services to patients, families and carers with a high level of professional knowledge.
The Level 3 Social Work Senior Clinician is able to demonstrate advanced reasoning skills on circumstances of a complex nature requiring advanced practice skills, operates autonomously with minimum direct clinical supervision and has a consultative role within their area of speciality.
They are involved with planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting on clinical services and are involved in the implementation of WSLHD protocols, quality improvement initiatives, policies and procedures.

- Qualification: Degree in Social Work with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW)
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated high level clinical experience and understanding of the needs of clients accessing the health care system.
- Demonstrated experience in using advanced practice skills to provide high quality comprehensive assessments and care planning for cases in child protection, domestic violence, NDIS, guardianship matters, sudden loss and deterioration.
- Demonstrated understanding of the challenges in accessing health services/navigating the health system for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, Refugees and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse client groups.
- Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures for service improvement and skills in providing training and education with experience in staff and/or student supervision.
- Well-developed time management skills with excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated experience in quality assurance and / or clinical practice improvement activities.
- Ability to participate in the After Hours Crisis On-Call Social Work Service.
