About the job:
- This traineeship offers you the chance to gain a recognised qualification in Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance with a reputable training organisation.
- You’ll work under the supervision of occupational therapists, assisting with patient one-to-one sessions, group exercise classes, setting up equipment, and maintaining treatment areas.
- You’ll receive support from the occupational therapy team, with dedicated time to complete your Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance.
- You’ll have unique learning opportunities to explore Allied Health career paths within Hunter New England Health.
- Ideal for a recent school leaver looking to gain a valuable qualification in a health-related field.

The Manning Base Allied Health team are a vibrant, multidisciplinary team working with the Lower Mid-Coast community to provide high-quality healthcare. You’ll have supervision and support provided from the team, who are very eager to help you learn and grow as a professional during your traineeship. You’ll work closely with Occupational Therapists, with potential to learn from and work with Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, and AHA’s. Every day will be diverse and exciting.
