About our team:
Small and mighty, our team consists of 2 Health Service Managers responsible for the management of Information, Activity and Performance reporting for Hunter New England Mental Health Service. 
This position will support both HSMs in achieving the goals of both the unit and service. We are a team of collaboration, cohesiveness and outcome driven. We strive to get the best out of each other. 


    About the role:
    The Activity & Performance Officer will play a key role in coordinating and supporting the performance team in delivering consistent, high-quality customer service, including managing telephone and email inquiries. This role involves preparing and maintaining regular data and KPI reports, with a strong focus on data entry and the identification of trends or anomalies for escalation and investigation. The successful candidate will provide support across various projects, as well as contribute to the development, review, and improvement of administrative processes and systems to ensure efficient service delivery. 

    • This position will be responsible for data reportable monthly and quarterly for all HNEMH Services.
    • High level of autonomy within role, clear timelines provided for tasks, with each month similar to the last.
    • Full orientation and training will be provided.


    This position is full time; however, job share and/or part time arrangements will be considered.



    About you:
    Our successful candidate will be an experienced and professional administration officer, eager to bring your strong initiative and problem-solving skills to a dynamic team. Your ability to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines ensures you consistently deliver high-quality results. You communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and thrive in collaborative environments where continuous improvement is valued. With a high level of proficiency in computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office (including Excel), you are adept at using technology to streamline processes and enhance productivity. Ideally you will have previous experience working within Mental Health Services, however, not essential.
