The role is responsible for managing a service wide Aboriginal Mental Health Programs, leads strategic and operational delivery of service, and coordinates strong partnerships with the community. The role also manages a dynamic multi-disciplinary team of Aboriginal Mental Health Staff that support inpatient and community services across three service sites (Eastern Suburbs, St George and Sutherland).

Selection Criteria:
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the below questions as thoroughly as possible.
- Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in a health or management related field.
- Extensive knowledge of contemporary issues in Aboriginal cultures and culturally responsive health service provision with a commitment to improving the health and social outcomes for Aboriginal people in contact within health service.
- Demonstrated skills in managing a number of projects concurrently, with varying timeframes and workloads, in a high volume work environment.
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated high level analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to provide authoritative advice and recommendations across a large and complex organisation.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management and other key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and evaluation at strategic and service levels.
- Current drivers licence (with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position).
