Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated ability to successfully engage with service provider organisations such as LHDs to achieve program objectives.
- Extensive experience and strong practical skills in health promotion and preventive health program innovation and management.
- Qualifications or significant experience in population health and/or a related discipline such as nutrition or human movement and an understanding of prevention and health promotion principles and practice.
- Well-developed organisational and problem solving skills, the capacity to manage several tasks concurrently and achieve competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large and complex contracts to ensure deliverables are met.
- Proven excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to provide strategic program advice in a complex and multi-disciplinary environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor staff and work flexibly and effectively across other portfolio areas if required.
