Selection Criteria 

  1. Extensive experience in regulatory and compliance activity including interpretation of legislation.
  2. A minimum qualification of a certificate IV in Government Investigations is desirable.
  3. Demonstrated ability to use effective well-developed interpersonal skills to manage difficult interactions, resolve conflict and de-escalate situations.
  4. Ability to work flexibly, including across different environments and contexts.
  5. Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results with a customer focused approach.
  6. Proven capacity to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team environment.
  7. Proven engagement, collaboration and negotiation skills with the capability to build, maintain and use relationships with customers and stakeholders to achieve desired results.
  8. Capacity and willingness, including current NSW driver’s license, to travel to locations throughout NSW, which may include overnight stay in regional / remote areas.

COVID-19 Vaccination Compliancy 
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine (except for the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine which is approved by the TGA as a single dose primary course). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.

  • This is a temporary role up to 30 June 2026. 
  • Please note the selection process will include a range of comparative assessment techniques to assist in determining your suitability for the role.
