Full Time and Part Time positions available

Hunter New England Imaging is looking for experienced Nuclear Medicine Physicians to provide high quality, efficient, safe and customer focused Nuclear Medicine services.

The service caters to both adult and paediatric medicine and has several gamma cameras, SPECT/CT units, PET and BMD. It is an exciting innovative service with potential for research and the integration of cutting edge radiopharmaceutical use. We have several radiopharmaceutical agents used for therapy.

  1. Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Nuclear Medicine Physician, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways
  2. Accreditation as a PET specialist. Preferably with at least 3 years' experience as a Specialist in Nuclear Medicine/PET
  3. Comprehensive experience in a broad range of Nuclear Medicine procedures. Experience with paediatric Nuclear Medicine and bone mineral densitometry.
  4. Excellent working knowledge of RIS & PACS as well as Xeleris3/advanced workstations. Good knowledge of Xeleris 3 programming, NEUROSTAT and NEUROGAM softwares
  5. Proven experience with PET tracer imaging F18FDG and Ga68DOTATATE, GaPSMA, FET, NaF
  6. Experience and willingness to work across a range of Nuclear Medicine modalities
  7. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team
  8. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  9. Demonstrated commitment to teaching, undergraduate or postgraduate education programs. Proven research capability. Computer literacy.
