John Hunter Hospital/ Hunter New England Imaging Service (HNEI)

HNEI is seeking candidates that have gained Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists and specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia to provide high quality clinical care, diagnostic and Consultative specialty services in Interventional Radiology. 

About the role: 

• Prioritisation of urgent and routine requests for Interventional procedures.
• Preliminary reporting of cases prior to Staff Specialist validation.
• Liaison with clinical referral base.
• Regular Radiographer and Radiology trainee tutorials.
• Participation in quality activities and projects.

HNEI comprises of the Divisions of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine which together provide a complete range of training modalities including General Radiology, Fluoroscopy, Tomography, Angiography, Interventional Procedures, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and PET.
