About the role:
Join our dynamic team as an Enrolled Nurse in the Emergency Short Stay Unit (ESSU), where you'll provide frontline care as part of a multidisciplinary team. Under the guidance of Registered Nurses, you'll deliver individualised, high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, helping to optimise health outcomes. You'll benefit from mentorship by a high-performing leadership team, have access to Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) supported training, and be able to advance your skills through structured progression in the Emergency Department's Acute and Fast Track models of care.

Level 6 Emergency Department:
Our department specialises in trauma, neurosurgical emergencies, neurology patients (including acute stroke), major orthopaedic, cardiology and cardiothoracic cases, and paediatric/adolescent mental health. With over 85,000 presentations annually, our ED is one of the busiest mixed Adult/Paediatric Tertiary Referral Centres in Australia and the only Trauma Referral Centre in NSW outside of Sydney.
