About the Role

This is a permanent part-time role (2 days per week) – availability on Thursdays and Fridays is essential.

In this fast-paced and rewarding position, you'll support our surgical and perioperative teams by managing essential administrative functions that keep everything running behind the scenes. From scheduling and recruitment to data entry and patient coordination, your work will directly contribute to exceptional patient outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-level admin support to ensure positive healthcare experiences in the theatre suite.
  • Assisting the Nurse Unit Manager with rostering, recruitment, auditing, and planning education.
  • Coordinating meeting agendas, writing minutes, and completing general administrative tasks.
  • Managing communication between clinical teams, patients, and service partners.

About You

You are an enthusiastic and reliable team player who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting. You bring:

  • Administrative experience, preferably in a clinical or hospital environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Confidence using hospital systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A passion for supporting frontline care and continuous learning.
  • Initiative, adaptability, and an eye for detail.
