Join the General Medicine Department at John Hunter Hospital located within the Medical & Interventional Services with a multidisciplinary team of administration, doctors and nurses.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Clinical typing
- Managing phone inquiries
- Handling digital medical records
- Performing various administrative duties to support the department
- Room bookings
- Grand Rounds including creation of flyers and liaising with presenters
- Distribution of the General Medicine Roster and On Call Roster
- Distribution of the Advanced Trainee Education Sessions

Training & Support
You’ll receive hands-on training from experienced administrative staff within the General Medicine Unit, along with access to online learning modules via My Health Learning. Additionally, we provide:
