The Diabetes Service is a fast-paced, patient-focused department supporting antenatal, youth, and transgender clinics. As the first point of contact, you'll play a vital role in delivering outstanding administrative and reception support to clinicians and patients. This is your chance to work in a varied and rewarding environment.
Role Expectations
- Provide dynamic reception and administrative support to clinicians and patients.
- Demonstrate exceptional typing skills by processing correspondence, typing dictated clinic letters accurately, and distributing approved documents promptly.
- Manage patient appointments, referrals, and waitlists.
- Prepare and service clinics, ensuring smooth operations for all stakeholders.
- Coordinate meetings, including room bookings and minute-taking.
- Respond to enquiries via phone, email, and fax with professionalism and efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date rosters and schedules.
Your precision in typing and documentation will directly contribute to the quality of patient care and operational success.
